Proof

Built for our own store first.

These systems were built for our own dispensary in Brooklyn — not a client project. We use them every day. Now we build the same systems for other operators.

The Problem

Store managers were spending 3+ hours daily on manual inventory counts and reorder calculations across two product categories.

What We Built

An automated inventory monitoring system that tracks stock levels in real-time, generates reorder alerts at custom thresholds, and drafts purchase orders for manager approval.

The Result

Inventory management dropped from 3 hours/day to 15 minutes. Zero stockouts in the first 90 days.

The Problem

Customer follow-up messages were sent inconsistently — sometimes days after a visit, sometimes never. Response time on inquiries averaged 4+ hours.

What We Built

An automated customer communication system that drafts follow-up messages based on purchase history, sends them on a defined schedule, and routes incoming inquiries to prioritized response queues.

The Result

Response time dropped from 4 hours to under 20 minutes. Customer re-visit rate increased 18% over 60 days.

The Problem

Monthly compliance reporting required 6–8 hours of manual data pulling, formatting, and verification — every single month.

What We Built

An automated compliance pipeline that pulls data from the POS, formats it per state requirements, flags anomalies for review, and generates submission-ready reports.

The Result

Monthly compliance work dropped from 7 hours to 45 minutes. No reporting errors in 6 months.

Pricing

Flat monthly fee. Unlimited requests.

For reference: a single internal tool build at an agency runs $15K–$50K. A freelance developer costs $100–200/hour. Retail Command is neither.

FAQ

Questions worth answering.

How fast is delivery?
Most tasks are completed within one business week. Because we work through requests one at a time, clients typically receive several completed tasks per month depending on complexity. Throughput is continuous — as soon as one task ships, the next one starts.
What counts as one request?
A request is a clearly defined unit of work with one concrete output, completable in approximately one week. Not an open-ended project. If you describe a problem in plain English and the result is a working automation or tool, that's one request.
What if I don't like what you built?
One round of revision is included on every delivery. Describe what needs to change and we'll adjust until it works for your workflow.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes. Pause anytime, resume when you're ready. Billing pauses too. No penalty, no questions asked.
What tools and platforms do you work with?
We work with whatever your store uses — POS systems, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, custom databases, and more. If it has an API, we can connect to it.
Do I need any technical knowledge?
No. Describe your problem in plain English. We handle the technical side entirely. You describe the problem; we deliver a working solution with a video walkthrough.
Who is actually building this?
Dio — former Staff Product Designer at Slack, Head of Product at Air, Stanford-trained. Currently owns and operates a dispensary in Brooklyn where all of these systems were originally built and are running in production. This is not theory.
What is NOT included?
Customer-facing product development, brand and visual design, ongoing maintenance (available as an add-on), and strategy consulting without building. We build operational systems — not marketing assets or growth tools.
How is this different from hiring a developer?
A developer costs $100–200 per hour and you manage the project. Retail Command is a flat monthly fee with unlimited requests, fully async, and we manage the queue. You describe problems; we deliver solutions. No project management on your end.
How is this different from an agency?
Agencies scope projects, write SOWs, run discovery phases, and charge $15K–$50K per build. We work on subscription — no scoping, no SOWs, no project management overhead. Just continuous delivery.
